Prison & Toontown

Prison
A prison is a place of detention. Shapes in block forms are used to give it a solid and strong feel. Dull colours are used. Everything is kept simple, with rectangular windows and triangular roofs as it serves no purpose for decorations or any form of enhancing its appearance. Sharp angles and definite lines, along with a large scale and space make the prison look powerful and threatening.

Toontown
Unlike the prison, toontown is meant for children to play about. Hence, there is a need to decorate the place such that children will enjoy themselves. Bright colors are used to create contrast and capture the children's attention. Unlike the prison, many irregular shapes are used to create a fun environment. Walls have rounded edges instead of sharp corners, such that children are less likely to get hurt. Objects are packed closely together to make it cosy.
